Wax After Care Advise

Please follow the guidelines below to ensure your skin is cared for properly over the next few days.

Do:

• Exfoliate and moisturise the area(s) to be waxed the evening before your appointment.
• Regularly exfoliate and moisturise to prevent in-growing hairs. (wait atleast 48 hours after waxing before exfoliating again)
• Apply a soothing waxing aftercare lotion if the area is prone to sensitivity. Always wash your hands before applying the produt.
• Wear clean, loose fitting clothes.
• Leave long enough time between treatments (4-6 weeks)
• Ask your therapist if you have any worries or queries about waxing.

Don't:

• Shave between waxing appointments for best results.
• Apply any products (eg make up, perfumes, body sprays, deaodorants or lotions to the area(s)for 24 hours after waxing other than those recommended by your therapist)
• Expose the area(s) to heat, sunbeds, sunbathing, saunas, hot baths or showers for 24 hours after waxing. Cool to luke-warm water is advisable.
• Wear tight clothing for 24 hours as it may irritate the skin.
• Scratch or touch the treated area(s) with unwashed hands.

Please Note: Some slight soreness, small bumps and redness are common and perfectly normal temporary reactions, particularly if this is your first wax. These symptons should subside over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Before and After Care Advise For Lash Extension

• Before your eyelash extensions appointment

Please come free from eye make-up (this saves time and allows better adhesion). Contact lenses MUST BE removed during the procedure. Please make sure that you bring a case for them to be stored.

• What are eyelash extensions?

Cluster lash extensions are temporary, lasting up to 2 weeks depending on the maintenance.

• Can I wear my normal make up?

Absolutely! You can continue to wear make up but you will find out that you no longer need to use mascara. Waterproof mascara is not recommended. If you wear make up it is important to use an oil free make up remover.

• Can I shower and swim while wearing eyelash extensions?

Avoid getting your lashes wet within the first 24 hours after application. After that time you can shower, swim or use sauna as the glue is waterproof.

Doto the Minx peeling off at the free edge. Rem ordinary household cleaning products, but wearing gloves helps to protect them from t the edges, you can smooth it by using a very fine file, filing away in one direction. You can also use a clear top coat of nail varnish ovnd cream and/or cuticle oil on your nails every day. Neither of these will
